Lindsey Steill has worked in the jewelry industry since she was 15-years old. Raised in Carmel, Indiana, she began her career as a sales associate for a family friend who owned a nearby luxury jewelry store.

An Accounting graduate of Purdue University, Lindsey accepted a position as a financial auditor with one of the big four accounting firms, PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she honed her professional skills reviewing financial statements for a number of corporations, big and small, public and private. A few years later, the opportunity to return to the jewelry industry presented itself and Lindsey became the company’s chief financial officer for 12 years.

Steill left the jewelry store in 2014 and joined The Edge Retail Academy, a consulting firm for retail jewelers. During her time there, she noticed an accounting need with the EDGE software and after 18 months, she left the organization to open Luxe Financial Group.  At Luxe, Steill and her team specialize in helping jewelry store owners with their EDGE accounting needs, and one of the best parts of what she does, says Steill, is now she’s able to help hundreds of business owners, instead of just one. “My passion is to help others succeed … so we help them understand numbers, instead of being scared of them.”

 

Steill, her husband and two sons, live on the north side of Indianapolis, not far from the Luxe Financial Group office. In her spare time, she loves adventures with her boys, competing on a tennis team, running with her black lab Lucy, and helping others.
